Video Log : Kylin gear and Ying & Yang elements

Good day to you fellow traveler in the land of 9 Dragons !

 I am Sedbona and today we will talk about kylin set, East and West Temple from Kunlun map and the relation with Ying and Yang elements. If you are a wu tang you know too well our clan slogan :  Yin and Yang have no beginning nor end, creation and destruction reside in the ways in which they bend and yield to one another. What is firmly grasped cannot slip away.One sword takes life while another gives it back.

 Ying, Yang, Body and Soul elements were introduced shy in game from Acclaim time. At that time we didn't have so many variations, but players who increased those elements damage and resistance had a great advantage in pvp, because 98% of players only build up physical and chi kung resistance and damage. Yin, Yang, Body and Soul are equal in damage.

Now there is little complexity of these elements, which players often completely ignore. I have encountered in the game a lot of players who do not know anything about this system, that it just exists.

In pve, around the land of 9dragons we have plenty of monsters that have implement this system in defense and damage. From low level to the highest level we have different ornaments, relics, trinkets, clothes, weapons, epithets, pills,skills, mastery that have incorporated this system.  You can find ying, yang, body and soul monsters in dungeons, Tibet, Kunlun, Loulan map. The richest resource of ying and yang are East and West Temples from Loulan map. The bosses from those temples drop out the kylin set, the best set incorporated with these elements. Also, from mats there we can craft relics, trinkets, epithets and weapons with ying and yang elements. The set drops more in purple runs and weapons in red run.  To farm the epithets of kylin bosses it is long run, like 10 days of farming mats in order to craft it. To get all ying and yang it is a long way journey. Aside kylin set we also have other clothes with resistance to all.

If you pay attention to relic description you will notice that in the land we have some special relics with ying and yang damage like demon face risen plate, beads of golden dragon, beads of golden dragon excellence and also you can ad stats to your relics from lowest to highest with ying and yang.

For weapons ornament and clothes ornaments you can browse up the F11 resource, from Hefei map to Nanchang, Hangzhou, Liaodong we can craft from low level ornaments with ying and yang. For e.g. in Liaodong we can craft from mats, 300 ying damage and 300 yang damage weapon ornament for clothes with 15 yin resistance and 15 yang resistance. 

Also, each clan has resistance from mastery :

Shaolin : 10% Soul.

Wu-Tang : 5% Yin 5% Yang.

Beggar : 10% Body.

Brothehood : 10% Body.

Flower : 10% Yin.

Demon : 10% Yang.

Aside mastery, each role has special skill incorporated with ying and yang element like buff for damage and resistance or smashes in case of  wu tang warriors that are reducing the opponent elements and inflict damage or defense shields in case of other roles.

Now, if we talk about mobs, the mobs name with special elements are colored. For blue color monsters monsters you need Yin Resistance and Yang damage and for red color monsters you need Yang Resistance and Ying damage.

As for pvp, ying and yang damage also works. If you press your adversary you can check their resistance.

Red color = Yin

Yellow color = Yang

Blue color = Soul

Green color = Body

In the end I would add that if you have advantage versus a monster incorporated with that element, meaning the monsters is dark blue to you, you are like 20-30 levels above the monster level, your superior damage will take effect and ying and yang damage will affect less, but still ads as damage. You will see a big difference using this damage to a mob that have same level as you or it is in advantage. However this not applies for pvp.

Only few players develops a big resistance for these elements, around 100 to 300 is common.
