Papaya Play first event : ANCESTRAL RITES (ENDED)

 


The launch festival of Papaya server came to an end. It was the first event on this server and you could gather resources (materials) from map and dungeon monsters and exchange for Ancestral Rite or a Radiant Ancestral Rite at Hefei Festival NPC.



After you exchanged the items (only pears could be traded with other players) you could do rites and get in return items. To use either Ancestral Rite, you'll need to be outside of a populated village/city and click on the altar that appears, and you'll receive some random rewards from the list.

Blue Excellence Banner can be equip with another blue banner, but not from in game resource, but only via banner ticket exchange of 7 days. This combo is usually used for the damage on the critical hit (damage increases by 50% on Critical Hit).





Flag of Chaos & Rising Bead of Kylin (level 1 items in chain of crafting). Equip together the items give a bonus.

Players feed-back :

  • The drop rates for the mats were not well proportioned, event fish broiled did not fall from all the monsters on the map and dropped in very small quantities, side to certain type of mobs, animal type.
  • Only one type of event resource could be tradable, which made it difficult to do rites, especially on a server in its early state.
  • The events that consist of hunting on maps and dungeons are not useful for those who have high levels characters because the drop rates at high level monsters are very small and you need a lot of time to kill them (ex Kunlun monsters like furious). The players have to make a new farm character at each event. It is best to introduce events with daily quests instead of a hunt events for level 150+ characters.
